Community Café Opens it’s Doors – Stowmarket, Suffolk
On the 14th June the @TheRec project opened its doors to the public. This unique community café utilises two 40ft shipping containers to form this cafe and training space in the heart of Stowmarket’s Recreational Ground.
The project designed and overseen by Dayle Bayliss Associates, is a collaborative project between Menta, the Suffolk Enterprise Agency and Stowmarket Town Council. As part of the GoMenta project the facility offers a café as well as a space for training and events. The community café is a place for engagement and business support that will be led by MENTA. This is a different approach to supporting the community , encouraging and supporting entrepreneurs in the region.
