Science, maths, engineering and technology (STEM) are a key part of what it is we do in our day to day business at Dayle Bayliss Construction Consultants. We enjoy the challenges and opportunities that these areas bring to our workload. This interest in the STEM subjects and the diverse career opportunities it has offered is one of the drivers behind our activities with the Suffolk Education Business Partnership and being a STEM Ambassador. This interest started early for Dayle and at school she was involved in the CREST Awards scheme, an initiative by the British Science Association to utilise STEM enrichment activities to inspire and engage young people aged 5-19 years. This involvement in the 1990’s sparked a career in construction and is the focus of one of CREST’s recent case studies.
